Diclofenac K
Indications/Uses
Acute & chronic treatment of signs & symptoms of RA, OA & ankylosing spondylitis. Management of pain & primary dysmenorrhoea.
Dosage/Direction for Use
100-150 mg in 2-3 divided doses daily.
Contraindications
Active gastric or peptic ulcers; hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs, ischemic heart disease, peripheral artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, congestive heart disease.
Special Precautions
Known or risk for CV disease, HTN, fluid retention or heart failure; history of ulcer or GI bleeding.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, vertigo; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, flatulence, anorexia, epigastric pain; increased transaminases; skin rash.
Drug Interactions
Lithium, digoxin, diuretics, other NSAIDs & anticoagulants, MTX, cyclosporin, quinolones.
